This is a glass ball, from a childhood dream, almost the same New Year's toy, in which the whole world is enclosed. Usually it contains a small, ideal world, with a house, a snowman, a Christmas tree and snow. I so wanted to be in this ideal world, but it was impossible, because I grew up in a communal apartment in the Soviet Union. Gray everyday life, and only a new year, and a premonition of future happiness … And now I am an adult and mature artist. I can express my vision of that same magic ball and my attitude. Day and night, cold and hot, yin and yang. This ball rolls, causing the world to spin, splashing out clouds or taking them in from the sky around it. Eternal struggle, perpetual motion, this is the basis of life, in my understanding. A series of constant changes. The day will definitely be replaced by the evening, and that, in turn, will be replaced by night, and so day after day … Faith in the best, willingness to act, persistent struggle for happiness and the opportunity to bring good into the world. That's the only way you stay human! Only in this way do we maintain our self-esteem and self-respect.he artist's fantasy is boundless and all-conquering.
