Dunes. When I was painting this picture, music was sounding in my head. The first tune is "Caravan" by Duke Ellington and the second "Bolero" by Ravel. Ellington in the sky, Ravel in the desert. Light clouds float in the rhythm of jazz, and the dunes slowly but surely move to the fine beat of Ravel. A real concert, opposition and harmony at the same time. Fiery passion and languor, variability and stability. The tired, but still incinerating sun is about to set over the horizon, but the melody does not want to let it go. The extravaganza of sensuality whirled over the desert and the luminary was heard, froze and forgotten.
