I painted this picture in a particularly hot, one can say frankly, the heat was unbearable, even the air conditioner could not cope. I wanted coolness so much that I decided to draw a winter night, such that the crackle of frost splashed out of the picture. Thus this picture was born. Frost, a full moon peeking through the clouds, a waterfall, almost frozen, but still breaking through, here and there. Fluffy firs, snow-capped mountains, and a lake almost encased in ice.
