Resting young lion. I painted this picture as a gift to my grandson, his name is Lavi in Hebrew, a young lion. I wish my baby that he always has a place where he will be protected and can relax, knowing that he is loved, supported and expected here. The world, so huge and diverse, lies at his feet, the bright sun, boundless distances shrouded in haze, freedom and adventure. Only in freedom, the young lion will get stronger and turn into the king of beasts. Ringing and calling freedom is what makes a lion as a lion.
