Revival of Life in Ornament

In my painting “Revival of Life in Ornament”, I wanted to capture the moment when life begins to awaken in a place that seemed frozen and lifeless. Through the cold, lace-like threads of the ornament, I let the sky break through — fragile at first, but persistent, bringing light and breath back into stillness.

When I painted the roses, I saw in them more than just flowers. They became symbols of strength — of the natural force that always reaches toward light. Their petals unfold as if remembering life itself, and with every brushstroke, I felt that memory grow stronger and warmer.

The butterfly at the bottom is my guide — the messenger of transformation. It appears where silence begins to yield to breath, where stillness turns into movement. Its delicate wings break through the static pattern, turning the ornamental lines into living rhythm and air.

The contrast between the structured and the alive is at the heart of this work. The white threads, once cold and confining, began to feel rhythmic and organic, as if the very fabric of the world was awakening and letting light flow through.

I chose acrylic for its balance between density and translucency. The blues and azures became the air, while the pinks and greens pulsed with life. Each layer of paint felt like a breath — a movement from cold to warmth, from stillness to vitality.

For me, “Revival of Life in Ornament” is not just a painting — it’s an experience. It speaks of how life always finds its way, no matter how tangled the threads, no matter how quiet the space. It’s about freedom, renewal, and the inner light that cannot be silenced — the eternal reminder that life, in all its forms, is infinite.
