Top of Form
“Fusion” is an image of two completely different worlds meeting, gradually penetrating one another and creating a new reality. At the center of the composition is a butterfly, as if suspended between two spaces. One side of its wings resembles a delicate stained-glass window in cool shades of blue and lilac, while the other is filled with warm orange tones and a more natural pattern. They are different, yet come together as a single image.
The flower surrounding the butterfly becomes the space where these worlds interact. Its petals break into fragments, patterns, and fields of color, transforming a familiar form into something new and almost fantastical. The decorative mesh structure of the background continues this interplay, blurring the boundaries between the flower, the butterfly, and the surrounding space.
The distinctive character of the painting lies in the combination of vivid decorative quality and graphic clarity. Strong outlines, mosaic-like fragments, and saturated colors evoke stained glass while creating a sense of contemporary visual abstraction.
“Fusion” is not about the opposition of different worlds, but about their interpenetration, when the encounter of opposites becomes the beginning of something completely new.
