This work is inspired by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s famous musical piece and seeks to transform sound into a visual image. The energy, speed, and virtuosity of the music are reflected in the intertwining lines, vibrant colors, and decorative forms.
At the center of the composition emerges a musical essence embodied in a labyrinth of flowing lines. Within this weave, a treble clef gradually appears, as if woven from rhythm and motion. Around it unfolds a fantastical world of ornaments and botanical motifs, where music becomes visible.
The bumblebee beside the piano symbolizes a melody escaping from the world of notes and coming alive within the painting. The bright yellow background, fluid lines, and rich colors convey the joy, movement, and celebratory energy of the composition.
